1. Contract Formation
A binding contract between Yashkf Motors and the customer is formed upon booking or the vehicle’s arrival on site (whichever comes first) for accident repairs, bodywork, assessments, servicing, or any other repair work.
2. Eligibility to Enter into Contract
By placing an order or booking (via phone, internet, or in person), you confirm that:
- You are legally capable of entering into a contract
- You are at least 18 years old
- You reside in the UK
3. Insurance Company Agreements and Work Authorization
Yashkf Motors will obtain approval from the insurance company before commencing any accident repairs, bodywork, or claims through insurance. Customers must provide necessary claim reference numbers or documents from their insurance provider.
If an insurance company does not cover the repair costs or rejects a claim, the customer remains fully liable for all costs incurred, including:
- Vehicle recovery
- Storage
- Estimates
- Any work carried out
All insurance repairs are subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the insurance policy between the customer and their insurer.
4. Work Estimates and Customer Approval
Yashkf Motors will provide a detailed estimate of repair, bodywork, paint repair, or service costs before commencing any work. All work requires pre-approval from the customer or insurance company. No additional work will be undertaken without explicit consent.
All estimates are valid for 14 days and subject to physical inspection of the vehicle and part prices remaining stable.
5. Unforeseen Delays
If repairs or services cannot be completed within the quoted timeframe due to circumstances beyond Yashkf Motors’ control (such as delayed parts delivery or unforeseen work complexities), customers or the insurance company will be notified promptly.
6. VAT, Pricing, and Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply for special parts, oils, or spark plugs required for your vehicle. You will be informed of these costs on the day of service or repair.
7. Warranty Compliance
Service schedules and repair methods will adhere to manufacturer guidelines to maintain warranty protection.
8. Payment and Vehicle Collection
Payment is due immediately after completion of repair or service, accepted via:
- Debit card
- Credit card
- Cash
Vehicles will not be released until full payment has been made, unless otherwise agreed in writing. If payment is delayed, Yashkf Motors reserves the right to charge storage fees as detailed below. All parts fitted to the vehicle remain the property of Yashkf Motors until full payment is received.
Storage Charges
£120.00 + VAT per day (secure, indoor storage) for up to 6 months. Vehicles in storage for more than 6 months will be deemed abandoned, and Yashkf Motors reserves the right to dispose of the vehicle to recover outstanding charges. Any additional costs incurred during disposal, including transport and administrative fees, will be the customer’s responsibility.
9. Insurance Company Payments and Liability
For insurance work, if the insurer fails to settle the invoice, the customer remains fully liable for the full cost of repairs. All customers referred by accident management companies are liable for all charges if the management company does not settle the invoice.
10. Cancellation and Recovery of Costs
Customers may cancel a repair or service at any time but will be liable for payment of any work completed up to the point of cancellation. If an insurance claim is rejected or fraudulent, the customer will be liable for any recovery costs, estimating fees, and daily storage charges. Customers must arrange to recover these costs from their insurance provider.
Special parts ordered on request will be charged to the customer if they decide not to proceed with the repair.
